The Rev threw a drumstick into the air. Gravity took that personally. By the time Johnny Christ finishes the story, they’re both cracking up.
Filmed May 12, 2006, at Detroit’s Cobo Arena during Avenged Sevenfold’s City of Evil tour with Coheed and Cambria, this interview finds Johnny telling The Rev his favorite moment from the road.
Before the show, M. Shadows was resting his voice with a little help from some lemon products.
Among the songs played that night were “Beast and the Harlot,” “Unholy Confessions,” “Burn It Down,” “Bat Country” and a cover of Pantera’s “Walk.”
BandMonkey heard there was fruit backstage. Imagine his disappointment. Lemons aren’t bananas.
He brought a drumstick anyway.
