Hinder Names Fort Wayne Their Wildest Tour Stop (2006)

Aboard their tour bus in Battle Creek in 2006, Hinder name Fort Wayne their wildest tour stop. Austin Winkler’s explanation: “Rock n Roll.”

Hinder’s wildest tour stop? Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Filmed May 24, 2006, aboard Hinder’s tour bus at Planet Rock in Battle Creek, Michigan, this interview finds the band remembering a moment from the particularly wild night that put Fort Wayne at the top of the list.

Asked what prompted it, Austin Winkler closes the story simply: “Rock n Roll.”

The interview captures Hinder during the Extreme Behavior era, amid the breakout of “Lips of an Angel.” The band is looking back on Fort Wayne from a different stop on the road: Battle Creek, Michigan.

BandMonkey underestimated Fort Wayne. The brochure left some things out.
