The bunny suit made the trip. Then it made the return trip.
During a 2007 video interview at the Hard Rock Hotel in Chicago, Wes Borland recalled a request from Hard Rock Las Vegas: one of his stage-worn Limp Bizkit bunny suits for its memorabilia collection. He sent it in—and they sent it back. Borland pondered why.
The bunny suit was one of the many elaborate costumes Borland wears while performing, part of the visual creativity he has long brought to the stage through costumes, body paint and masks.
At the time, Borland was in Chicago with Black Light Burns, which was making its live debut April 30, 2007, at Buddy Guy’s Legends. The band would head out with Chevelle in May ahead of the June 5 release of its debut album, Cruel Melody.
